We are a veteran team of 5, 6, and 7th graders. |

Our research topic was on the nature of the Marsian core. Is the planet's center a liquid,
solid, or something in between. We planned to deplay numerous sensors to the surface to detect
and record seismic activity. This information could then be processed to determine the nature
of the planet's core. |

This is our robot. It is a differential (tank) drive. It has a rotation sensor for distance and
a light sensor for following lines. It has a fancy gear box to drive attachements with a second
light sensor on it to measure distances. We also used a switch sensor as an A-B switch for selecting
the right mission to run.
